The 300-Hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training is where the real teaching begins. The 200-hour gave you the foundation — the alignment principles, the sequencing logic, the philosophical scaffolding. The 300-hour asks you to dismantle what you think you know and rebuild it with subtlety, depth, and your own authentic voice.
Over twenty-four days, you will study advanced pranayama techniques that most 200-hour programs barely mention. You will sit with the Yoga Sutras not as a student reading a text, but as a teacher learning to transmit its teachings. You will practice advanced asana with an emphasis on injury prevention, intelligent progression, and the art of knowing when not to push.
The practicum is intensive. You will design and teach complete 75-minute classes to your peers, be filmed, receive detailed faculty feedback, and do it again — better each time. By the end, you will not just know how to teach. You will know who you are as a teacher.

AFTER THE TRAINING
What comes after your 300-hour
The pathway is the same one Yoga Alliance recognises worldwide: complete your 200-hour and register as an RYT-200 with Yoga Alliance — a credential recognised in over 100 countries. When you are ready, continue to the 300-hour and register as an RYT-500, the highest individual teaching credential. Registration with Yoga Alliance is a separate ongoing cost (around $50 to register, then roughly $65–$75 a year to renew) — worth knowing as you plan.
These are paths, not promises. Where the certification takes you depends on the work you put in after you leave Rishikesh.
1,200+
certified teachers worldwide have trained in the Deep Yoga lineage. You join a real, growing community of graduates.
Teach studio & community classes
Register as an RYT and you can teach group classes at studios, gyms, community centres, or independently — the most common first step graduates take.
Lead retreats & workshops
Many graduates go on to host their own retreats and themed workshops, building a teaching practice around a niche they care about.
Teach online
A recognised certification makes it credible to build an online class library, membership, or one-to-one practice that reaches students anywhere.

WHY DEEP YOGA
Six things every student notices in week one
A real teacher, named
Sudhanshu Badoni leads every cohort personally — not a rotation of strangers. His teaching is on YouTube (4,000+ subscribers); you can verify his pedagogy before you arrive.
Twenty to thirty in a cohort
Small enough that the faculty knows your alignment tendencies and your name by day three. Large enough to form the sangha you keep for years.
Lineage you can name
Curriculum traces explicitly to Adi Shankaracharya, Vivekananda, Sivananda, Satyananda, and Swami Rama — see /gurus for the full lineage.
Sattvic vegetarian kitchen
Three meals a day prepared in the shala kitchen from seasonal local produce. Vegan, gluten-free, and allergy accommodations on request.
On the western bank of the Ganges
The shala sits in Tapovan, Rishikesh — quiet enough for sunrise pranayama, walking distance to Ram Jhula bridge, the Ganga aarti, and the morning chai stalls.

Frequently asked questions
Can I do the 300-hour without having done my 200-hour at Deep Yoga?
Yes. We welcome graduates of any Yoga Alliance registered 200-hour program. You will need to submit your RYT-200 certificate during the application process.
How is the 300-hour different from the 200-hour?
The 200-hour builds your foundation. The 300-hour deepens every dimension — longer philosophy study, advanced pranayama techniques, filmed teaching practicums, mentorship, and specialization tracks. The pace is faster, the expectations are higher, and the transformation is more personal.
What teaching experience do I need?
We require at least 100 hours of documented teaching experience post-200hr. This can include studio classes, community teaching, private sessions, or online classes.
Will I be certified as RYT-500 after this?
Yes. Completing both a 200-hour and 300-hour program from Yoga Alliance registered schools qualifies you to register as RYT-500 with Yoga Alliance.
Which visa do I need, and when should I arrive?
Most international students enter India on a Tourist Visa — our visa eligibility checker covers 60+ countries at /tools/visa-eligibility-checker. Arrive one day before the course start; the course ends in the afternoon of the last day. Airport pickup from Dehradun (DED, Jolly Grant) is included on request — share your flight details at booking.
What is your refund policy?
The deposit is non-refundable. More than 60 days before the start date, the balance is refundable minus a small admin fee (₹5,000–10,000). Between 30 and 60 days, 50% of the total fee is refundable. Less than 30 days before, or a no-show, is non-refundable.
